About Us

Hayley Hinton

Hayley Hinton (BSc hons Occupational Therapy) is a clinical specialist occupational therapist, she is a director of and cofounded OT Partners Ltd in 2014.

Hayley qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2000, finding a passion within neurology early in her career. Since graduating she has worked in a variety of neuro-rehabilitation settings in both the UK and New Zealand. She has worked in out-patient, inpatient and community settings, treating a wide range of neurological disorders such as Stroke, Acquired Brain Injury, Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

Hayley spent 9 years working with clients who have complex neurological disabilities at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability. Here she specialised in neuro-rehabilitation working with people at different stages of their rehabilitation pathway. During this time she gained experience in working with complex postural needs and Disorders of Consciousness. Hayley progressed to working as a clinical specialist where her role included supervising, teaching and advising other occupational therapists as well as leading and developing the occupational therapy service.

Hayley has a keen interest in upper limb management including splinting and spasticity management, leading and teaching on splinting courses. Hayley has worked as a lead splint clinic advisor and part of a spasticity clinic.  She is trained in the use of Saebo products, Functional Electrical Stimulation and lycra garments.

Hayley is HCPC registered and a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists as well as the Specialist Section for Neurological Practice. Hayley is committed to continuing her professional development..

Clare Fundell

Clare is a joint director of OT Partners Ltd and cofounded the company in 2014.  Clare qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Southampton in 2006. Since then she has worked in a variety of settings, including acute, community and inpatient rehabilitation.

For the past 5 years Clare has specialised her skills in the assessment and treatment of Neurological conditions at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, where she is currently one of the Clinical Specialists.  In this role, she works with complex clients at a variety of stages in their rehabilitation, ranging from those with disorders of consciousness to clients returning to independent living within the community. Part of her role is also to lead in the co-ordination and running of internal and external training of others in areas of specialist practice such as complex management of the upper limb through splinting and casting. Clare has had a number of pieces of work presented at recent Occupational Therapy Annual conferences, as well as UK Acquired Brain Injury forums, she is passionate about learning and continually strives to develop her skills.

Clare has specialist training in the use of Saebo products, Functional Electrical Stimulation and Lycra garments.

Clare is a member of the HCPC, British Association of Occupational Therapists as well as the Specialist Section for Neurological Practice. .
